To sing for You [Song]

TO SING FOR YOU
By Donovan

When you're feeling kind of lonesome in your mind
With a heartache following you so close behind
Call out to me as I ramble by
I'll sing a song for you
That's what I'm here to do -
To sing for you.

When the night has left you cold and feeling sad
I will show you that it cannot be so bad
Forget the one who went and made you cry
I'll sing a song for you
That's what I'm here to do -
To sing for you.

When you feel you just can't make it anymore
With your head bowed down, you're staring at the floor
Search out to me with your weary eyes
I'll sing a song for you
That's what I'm here to do -
To sing for you.

Now every man, he has his work you know
And to find out mine you ain't got far to go
Call out to me with your weary eyes
I'll sing a song for you
That's what I'm here to do -
To sing for you.

A Note From The Gull

Heartfelt thanks to all the composers and performers who give voice to all our experiences and the emotions that accompany. And special, special thanks to those among them whose calling it is to intervene and to uplift, to bring inspiration, clarity, consolation and encouragement. Long live the troubadours and the minstrels and those who support them.

Have a happy Saturday, people!

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed is all of creation
Blessed be my beautiful people
Blessed be the day of our awakening
Blessed is my country

Like the Flower that shattered the Stone [Song]

LIKE THE FLOWER THAT SHATTERED THE STONE
By John Denver

The Earth is our Mother just turning around
With her trees in the forest and roots underground
Our Father above us whose sigh is the wind
Paint us a rainbow without any end.

As the river runs freely, the mountain does rise
Let me touch with my fingers and see with my eyes
In the hearts of the children a pure love still grows
Like a bright star in heaven that lights our way home
Like the flower that shattered the stone.

Sparrows find freedom beholding the sun
In the infinite beauty we're all joined in one
I reach out before me and look to the sky
Did I hear someone whisper, did something pass by?

As the river runs freely, the mountain does rise
Let me touch with my fingers and see with my eyes
In the hearts of the children a pure love still grows
Like a bright star in heaven that lights our way home
Like the flower that shattered the stone
Like a bright star in heaven that lights our way home
Like the flower that shattered the stone.

If I had another chance tonight
I'd try to tell you that the things we had were right...

A Note From The Gull

This video always gets to me. I think it is absolutely brilliant because by using an actual physical symbol of a heart, it brings into the open what is an internal struggle for those of us who have hearts that are "too big". Whether that largeness is of generosity, love, acceptance or caring, life, it seems, is often not willing to make it easy to bear or share such exceptionality.

I think that these exceptional ones should be rewarded but anyone with a "handicap" of any sort will recognise that the message is the same for them. Just replace that heart with any other physical or social "liability". The ones who carry similar "gifts" are often not recognised, encouraged or protected. They stick out too much, they make us uncomfortable, they appear cumbersome and burdensome and too much baggage to engage. They are easy targets for those who cannot accommodate the "differently abled".

And what about the plaintive lines repeated throughout the song:

"If I had another chance tonight
I'd try to tell you that the things we had were right..."

Is this the voice of those who have realised much too late how little others had really asked of them and how carelessly they had refused what they were being offered?

Among the many who preferred her, and the inconvenience of her heart, to disappear, the doorman at the nightclub stops her and tells her "You can't come in tonight." She asks why not and he explains curtly, "Heart's too big."

The funny thing though is that many of those avoiding her probably have hearts that are as big as hers. They, however have learned to keep their hearts under wraps and hidden away to avoid the very same problems that this person is experiencing.

There are so many layers of meaning and so much that can be observed and commented on because of the thought and care that went into crafting every second of this production. This is among the best music videos that I have ever seen. The concept was a stroke of genius and the execution was flawless.

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed is all of creation
Blessed be my beautiful people
Blessed be the day of our awakening
Blessed is my country

Vitamins [Song]

VITAMINS
By This is the Kit

All we need, all we need, all we need, all we need
Is some greens, green leaves, green leaves
Sort you right out,
Sort you right out,
Sort you right out,
Vitamins.

All we need, all we need, all we need, all we need
Is the sea, is the sea
'Cause the sea sorts you right out,
Sorts you right out
Sorts you right out,
Does the sea.

All we need, all we need, all we need, all we need
Is a place, a place to be, place to be
Pot to piss in
With a kitchen for our singing
Room enough for all our dancing
And a box with, a box with games in
That's what we need.

Ooo-ooh, ooo-ooh, ooo-ooh, ooo-ooh
Vitamins.

A Note From The Gull

This beautiful message has a rhythm beyond that provided by the instruments and the phrasing of the lyrics. It is the rhythm of simplicity, man pared down to his/her elemental self. We don't need as much as we have been taught to want and we certainly don't need the things that we accept that are secretly and boldly poisoning our bodies and souls. Are we working hard for non-essentials or for the vitamins that our souls and bodies crave?

Studies, including this one conducted by the University of Derby and The Wildlife Trusts, have been proving that spending time in nature has tangible benefits for human beings.

Perhaps you live in a place that is very far from the sea or a place where it is not easy to find wild places. Maybe you have physical or health limitations that make this activity difficult to organise or maybe it is downright dangerous because of criminal activity or warfare. Like prisoners have been known to develop relationships with the wild creatures visiting their cells, overcome the limitations by finding your own way to appreciate whatever you do have access to, the kingdom of your backyard, your balcony, the sky above you, the birds that fly past, the workings of the natural world that will find a way to reach you. Most of all, take a container, or many containers, drop in any growing medium and cultivate the greens.

And remember to rediscover the healing in community, in family and in the place where you hang your heart.

All we need...

Despite the language barrier for those of us who do not speak Igbo, thanks to the English inserts and the cultural "lingua franca" of social media and its trends, we have a good idea of what the singer is communicating. But does the song title state his belief that nobody is ugly or is he observing that the compulsion to preen and pose and pout for social media has outlawed "ugliness"?

Dwell in the Dark [Song]

Uploaded by Moses Sumney

DWELL IN THE DARK
By Moses Sumney

Why do you come here?
Why do you tear me apart?
I don't know why you're so
Made of material parts.

Why do you love fear
Carried around in the cart?
I don't know why you're so
Cloaks on mysterious heart.

You dwell in the dark, woh-oh
Dwell in the dark, oh-woh
Dwell in the dark, oh-woh
Dwell in the dark, ho-ho.

When you were little
You used to keep on the light
You grew up and grew in
And swallowed the spite.

And it won't be long now
Your body's wasting away
What's the point of this sham
Crafted in caves?

You dwell in the dark, woh-oh
Dwell in the dark, oh-woh
Dwell in the dark, oh-woh
Dwell in the dark, woh-oh-oh

And now can you open
A mind that's been broken down?
Illuminate the ocean floor
Make all the creatures bow
You'll come around when you're tired
Of being the night.

Dwell in the dark, oh-woh
Dwell in the dark, woh-oh
Dwell in the dark, ho-ho
Dwell in the dark ho-woh
Dwell in the dark, oh-oh
You dwell in the dark, oh-oh
You dwell in the dark, oh-woh
You dwell, yeah
You dwell in the dark, oh-oh-oh-oh
You dwell
You dwell the dark
And I am the dark.

I don't know [Song]

I DON'T KNOW
By Lisa Hannigan

I don't know what you smoke or what countries you've been to
If you speak any other languages other than your own
I'd like to meet you.

I don't know if you drive, if you love the ground beneath you
I don't know if you write letters or you panic on the phone
I'd like to call you all the same,
If you want to, I am game.

I don't know if you can swim, if the sea has any draw for you
If you're better in the morning or when the sun goes down
I'd like to call you.

I don't know if you can dance, if the thought ever occurred to you
If you eat what you've been given or you push it 'round your plate
I'd like to cook for you all the same,
I would want to, I am game.

If you walk my way, I could keep my head
We could creep away in the dark, or maybe not,
We could shoot it down anyway.

I don't know if you read novels or the magazines
If you love the hand that feeds you.
I assume that your heart's been bruised
I'd like to know you.

You don't know if I can draw at all or what records I am into
If I sleep like a spoon or rarely at all, or maybe you would do
Or maybe you would do.

If you walk my way I will keep my head,
We will feel our way through the dark
Though I don't know you, I think that I would do
I don't fall easy at all.

Aaah-oh, aaah-oh, aaah-oh, aaah-oh

If you walk my way I will keep my head,
We will feel our way through the dark
Though I don't know you, I think that I would do
I don't fall easy at all.

CROSSES
By José González

Don't you know that I'll be around to guide you
Through your weakest moments, to leave them behind you
Returning nightmares only shadows
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now.

Crosses all over, heavy on your shoulders
The sirens inside you waiting to step forward
Disturbing silence darkens your sight
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now.

Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard.

The streets outside your window overflooded
People staring, they know you've been broken
Repeatedly reminded by the looks on their faces
Ignore them tonight and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright.

A Note From the Gull

Apart from the assertion that we can rise above our difficulties - our crosses, I draw closer to this song's reminder that we are not alone. Whatever "the thing or things" that you rely on during these times, whether inner strength, the prayers of others for you, loved ones, caring strangers, omnipotent assistance, spirit guides, the eternal positive vibrations of loving ancestors who have long crossed over, guardian angels, what a comfort to know that we are never really alone.

For me the use of the other passengers who fade in and out and who actually mouth the words to the song, reinforces this message of accompaniment. Whether they generally represent other fellow human beings who have had similar struggles, or specific fellow human beings with their own struggles who have taken that ride along "the boulevard" before him, or people he has known and who have supported him at one time or another in his life and continue to do so, again I get the message that we are never really alone  in our journey, never alone in whatever it is that we are experiencing.

"We'll cast some light and you'll be alright."

Misunderstanding [Song]

MISUNDERSTANDING
By This is the Kit

Misunderstanding
Ever so weary
Holes in her patience
Tattered and flapping.

And it seems there’s no end
‘Cause the window is closed
And they’re buried in
And nobody knows.

Then the one who is pushing
Opens out and is sharing
Breathing out and is giving
Breathing in and is smiling.

And it saves us all
And it opens out
And it saves us all.

Misunderstanding
Saved by the sapling
Sapling was growing.

A Note From The Gull

To misunderstand is to understand incorrectly, while believing one has understood correctly. How many misunderstandings, little or large, underpin some of our most intractable problems?

Softly, easily, unexpectedly, gently, flexibly and without pride and preoccupation with self, the sapling grows.

Knots can be untied if only we find a way to open up to each other. There are no guarantees because nature has its own ways beyond our comprehension but there is greater likelihood that the invitation of open hearts, doors and windows will encourage the healing that is seeking us to finally enter and do its work.

Have a beautiful week and remember that when we experience mistakes, misfortunes, misplacings, misfirings, missteps, misplays, misinformation, misleadings and misunderstandings, nothing that we do next is written in stone. Our hearts are bigger than anything this world can throw at us.

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed be the day of our awakening

The Heavens above Us [Song]

Uploaded by Cossack43

THE HEAVENS ABOVE US
By Peter Bellamy
Based on the poem by Rudyard Kipling

To the Heavens above us, oh, look and behold
The planets that love us all harnessed in gold!
What chariots, what horses, against us shall bide
While the Stars in their courses do fight on our side?

All thoughts, all desires, that are under the sun,
Are one with their fires, as we also are one;
All matter, all spirit, all fashion, all frame,
Receive and inherit their strength from the same.

Oh, man that deniest all power save thine own,
Their power in the highest is mightily shown.
Not less in the lowest that power is made clear.
Oh, man, if thou knowest, what treasure is here!

Earth quakes in her throes and we wonder for why!
But the blind planet knows when her ruler is nigh;
And, attuned since Creation, to perfect accord,
She thrills in her station and yearns to her Lord.

The waters have risen, the springs are unbound—
The floods break their prison, and ravin around.
No rampart withstands 'em, their fury will last,
Till the Sign that commands 'em sinks low or swings past.

Through abysses unproven, or gulfs beyond thought,
Our portion is woven, our burden is brought.
Yet They that prepare it, whose Nature we share,
Make us who must bear it well able to bear.

Though terrors o'ertake us, we'll not be afraid,
No Power can unmake us save that which has made.
Nor yet beyond reason or hope shall we fall—
All things have their season, and Mercy crowns all.

Then, doubt not, ye fearful—The Eternal is King
Up, hearts, and be cheerful, and lustily sing:
What chariots, what horses, against us shall bide
While the Stars in their courses do fight on our side?

Condolence [Song]

CONDOLENCE
By Benjamin Clementine

I swear, that you’ve seen me
Yes, you’ve seen me here before, before
And so don’t you dare tell it,
Don't you dare tell it otherwise.

This voice, this particular voice
Yes, you’ve heard it before, before
And so don’t you dare tell it
Don’t you dare tell it otherwise.

No wonder, why the road seems so long
'Cause I had done it all before
And I won!

This feeling that you're feeling, tell me, don’t be ashamed,
You felt it before, before
And so don’t you dare tell it
Don’t you dare tell it otherwise.

I almost forgot, foolish me, I almost forgot, forgot
That where I am from, we see the rain
Before the rain even starts to rain.

No wonder why you've been bothering me
This walk, it's a previous journey
And I won!

Uhmmmm...

Oh, no wonder why the road seems so long
'Cause I had done it all before
And no wonder why the road seems so long
'Cause you had done it all before
And you won!

Before I was born there was a storm
Before that storm there was fire
Burning everywhere, everywhere
And everything became nothing again
And out of nothing,
Out of absolutely nothing, you, you were born, you were born
So that when you become someone one day
You will always remember that you came from nothing.

No wonder why they are bothering you
This walk, it's a previous journey
And no wonder why you've been bothering you
This walk, it's a previous journey
And you won!

I’m sending my condolence
Send your condolence to fear
Just send your condolence
Send your condolence to insecurity.

They should know by now
They should know by now
That we just don’t care
For what they might say
Will only bring someone downhill.

And I’m sending my condolence
I’m sending my condolence to fear
I’m sending my condolence
I’m sending my condolence to insecurity.

KESKIDEE SINGS
By Asheba

I know you by your yellow vest, you little Keskidee
That suits so well that mean brown coat that clings so close to thee
The little ring upon your head that forms a little hat
Why, if you stood with all the other birds
I would know you just by that.

And if for fun you hide yourself so that I could not see
I'd know you still, you pretty thing
When you sing, I hear you sing,
"Keskidee, Keskidee, Keskidee, Keskidee!"

Some attribute the bird's local name "Keskidee" to the sense of humour of the French speaking population who heard in the bird's call a perfect fit with the rhythm and sound of their expression, 'Qu'est-ce-qu'il-dit?'. What is he saying?

Our Master has made this body like a garden,
Apna Saahebne baag banayee, banjara re
Our Master has made this body like a garden,
Phool bhari layee chhab re, banjara ho
And how He' s filled it with a bowl of flowers!

Kahat Kabira | Kabir says,
Kahat Kabira | Kabir says,
Kahat Kabira | Kabir says,
Kahat Kabira Dharmidas ko
Kabir says, he who follows the truth
Sant amrapur maalna, banjara ho.
Will attain the kingdom of immortality.

Chhod ke mat jaao ekli re Banjara re Banjara re
Don't leave me now, O Breath, I am a wanderer!
Door des ka hai maamla
Still have to travel faraway lands
Ab jaago pyaara re
O, the one who is asleep, awake!
Ab jaago pyaara re
O, the one who is asleep, awake!
Ab jaago pyaara re
O, the one who is asleep, awake!

A Note From The Gull

I have no words for this beauty.

Chaki chali Gupal ki,sab jag peesa jhaar
Rura sabd Kabir ka, daara paat ukhaar.

Everyone in the world is being ground completely in the grinding mill of God.
The discourse of Kabir is not pleasant but it removes the curtain of illusions.

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed is all of creation
Blessed be my beautiful people
Blessed be the day of our awakening
Blessed is my country
Blessed are her patient hills.

Scale Down [Song]

SCALE DOWN
By Rising Appalachia

Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too.

Woh, I believe in a revolution,
I believe it is at hand now, believe in it,
Thick hands are strengthened daily, daily on demand
Because see, I am a blacksmith of metal and words
And a sheep that's pitch black too,
And lord, in this life that's all, all we wound up to do
Because 500 hundred years ago, when these same trees were more dense,
And all this color pristine, so the chaos here made sense.
There was no knowing of the loss of a whole mountain,
Of that same mountain that I call home
And lord, lord, these same trees, they rolled on and on,
Without mention of vanishing or with whom to belong
And these same mountains echoed peace out
A long time before the news, and oh, now that too is nearly gone,
Now that too is nearly gone,
So tell me what have we done as a civilization
To destroy in our own wake
Oh, that metaphorical hand that feeds us y'all
We are trashing our own birthday cake
And I consider myself a skeptic but lord, I'm an optimist in soul
And we are all getting throwed around and dragged along like the bull
He is huge and rageful, yet somehow subdued and hauled by those thick rings
So don't you too shut out the nasty, sticky truth of things.

Here we go.
Get the fuck out your car,
Walk, it's good for you
Stop consuming blindly,
And get by on that that you do have and possess
And then scale that down too.

It starts there,
Everybody's got a lot to say about everybody else
But it's our own transgression that always tends to melt away
And fade into that critique of whose fault or whose blame or whose wrong,
But oh, no, no, each and everyone of us,
We are doing something it's too hard or too fast or too long
And there's none but ourselves to make this thing last, none but ourselves
No, there's none but ourselves to make this thing last, none but ourselves
So there's none but ourselves to make this thing last, none but ourselves
Oh no, there's none but ourselves to make this thing last, none but ourselves.

So it starts there,
Everybody take a long, hard look at you,  a long, long, hard look at you
Lord, it starts there
Everybody take a long, hard look at you, a long, hard look at you
Oh no, it starts there,
Everybody take a long, hard look at you,  a long, hard look at you
Oh no, it starts there,
Everybody take a long, hard look at you,  a long, hard look at you.

And you stand up, and you look around and then you scale that down too
Lord, stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too
Stand up, look around and then scale that down too.

[Woh, you scale that down]
Stand up and you look down and scale that down too
[Oh no, you scale that down]
Stand up and you look down and scale that down too
[Oh no, you scale that down]
Stand up and you look down, then scale that down too
[Woh, you scale that down]
Stand up, you look down and scale that down too.

Woh no, you stand up, you look down and scale that down too
Oh, you stand up, you look down and scale that down too
Oh, you stand up, you look down and scale that down too
Oh, you stand up, you look down and scale that down too.

A Pilgrim's Way [Song]

Uploaded by Beth Boyle

A PILGRIM'S WAY
By Peter Bellamy based on the poem by Rudyard Kipling
Performed by Ian Robb

I will not look for noble saints to guide me on my way,
Nor for male or female devilkins to lead my feet astray.
If these be added, I'll rejoice—if not, I shall not mind,
As long as I have leave and choice to meet my fellow-kind.

For as we come and as we go, and very soon go we!
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

Thus I will honour pious men whose virtue shines so bright
Though none is more amazed than I when I by chance do right,
And I will pity foolish men for woes their sins have bred
Though ninety-nine percent of mine I've brought on my own head.

Yes, Amorite or Eremite, or just General Averagee,
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

And if they bore me overmuch, I will not shake mine ears,
Recalling many thousand such that I have bored to tears.
And if they labour to impress me, I will not doubt or scoff;
Since I myself have done no less and have sometimes pulled it off.

Yes, as we are and we are not, and as we pretend to be,
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

And when they work me random wrong, as often-times has been,
I will not cherish hate too long for my hands are none too clean.
And if they do me random good, I will not feign surprise.
No more than those that I have cheered with wayside courtesies.

Yes, as we give and as we take, whate'er our takings be
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

And deliver me from every pride — the Middle, High, and Low
That keeps me from a brother's side, whatever pride he show.
And purge from me all heresy of thought and deed and pen
That bids me judge him otherwise than I am judged. Amen!

For as we live and as we die — if after-Death there be
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

That I may sing for Crowd or King or for road-borne company,
That I may labour in my day, vocation and degree,
To prove the same by deed and name, and hold unshakenly
Where'er I go, whate'er I know, and whoe'er my neighbour be.

This single faith in Life and Death and to Eternity:
The people, Lord, Thy people, are good enough for me!

My World [Song]

MY WORLD
By Ronnie Davis

Sitting around, doing nothing
I’ve got nothing on my mind
And if you should stop to talk to me
Said you’d just be wasting your time
I don’t know nothing 'bout nothing
Lord, I’m living in a world I created for myself...oh yay
I’m living in a world I created for myself... all right.

Some folks call me a Rasta
They say I’ve got peculiar ways
The funny clothes, the funny clothes I wear
They say I’m a big disgrace...oh no
But they don’t bother me 'cause I’m doing alright
I’m living in a world I created for myself
This is my world!
I’m living in a world I created for myself...oh yay.

I’m living in a world I created for myself
I’m living in a world I created for myself.

Some folks call me a hippie
They say I’ve got peculiar ways
The funny clothes, the funny clothes I wear
They say I’m a big disgrace...oh no
But they don’t bother me 'cause I’m doing alright
I’m living in a world I created for myself
This is my world!
I’m living in a world I created for myself
This is my world!
I’m living in a world I created for myself.
For myself.
This is my world!
I’m living in a world I created for myself
This is my, my, my world
I’m living in a world I created for myself
You can’t live in my world
I’m living in a world I created for myself
My world! My world!
I’m living in a world I created for myself
This is my world!
I create my world for myself.

Overcome [Song]

OVERCOME
By Laura Mvula

When your heart is broken down, down, down
And your head don't reach the sky
Take your broken wings and fly!

When your head is hanging low, low, low
And the tears, they keep falling
Take your broken feet and run!

With the world up on your shoulders
Nowhere left to hide
Keep your head up, carry on!

It ain't no time to die, die
Even though we suffer
Come together, be brave!
Come together!
All God's children, come!

'Round the mountain, all God's children run
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run]
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run]
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run]
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run]
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run]
'Round the mountain, all God's children run
[All God's children run 'round the mountain, run!]

Step Out In The Sunshine [Song]

STEP OUT IN THE SUNSHINE
By Ralph Stanley

Step out in the sunshine so lovely and bright
Oh, leave the dark shadows for rain
Come walk in the pathway of gladness and light
And make your life happy each day.

Step out in the beautiful sunshine, step out
That's beaming from heaven above, from heaven above
Step out in the beautiful sunshine, step out
Step out in His wonderful love.

Step out in the sunshine, its wonderful rays
Will joy everlasting impart
New strength for your journey in swift passing days
New cheers for your grief-burdened heart.

Step out in the beautiful sunshine, step out
That's beaming from heaven above, from heaven above
Step out in the beautiful sunshine, step out
Step out in His wonderful love
Step out in His wonderful love.

Sweet Old World [Song]

Uploaded by Santi Mayor

SWEET OLD WORLD
By Lucinda Williams

See what you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?
What you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?

The breath from your own lips,
The touch of fingertips,
A sweet and tender kiss,
The sound of a midnight train,
Wearing someone's ring,
Someone calling your name,
Somebody so warm cradled in your arm.
Didn't you think you were worth anything?

See what you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?
What you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?

Millions of us in love,
Promises made good,
Your own flesh and blood,
Looking for some truth,
Dancing with no shoes,
The beat, the rhythm of blues,
The pounding of your heart's drum together with another one.
Didn't you think anyone loved you?

See what you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?
What you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?
See what you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?
What you lost when you left this world, this sweet old world?

A Note From The Gull

When you feel like giving up, just remember the reason why you held on for so long.” – Unknown

Suicide doesn’t end the chances of life getting worse, it eliminates the possibility of it ever getting any better.” – Unknown

Anyone desperate enough for suicide should be desperate enough to go to creative extremes to solve problems: elope at midnight, stow away on the boat to New Zealand and start over, do what they always wanted to do but were afraid to try.” – Richard Bach

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” – Harriet Beecher Stowe

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.”

Place your hand over your heart, can you feel it? That is called purpose. You’re alive for a reason so don’t ever give up.” – Unknown

If you want to show me that you really love me, don’t say that you would die for me, instead stay alive for me.” – Unknown

The person who completes suicide, dies once. Those left behind die a thousand deaths, trying to relive those terrible moments and understand … Why?” – Clark (2001)

Another Train [Song]

Uploaded by Bambi Diego

ANOTHER TRAIN
Composed by Pete Morton
Performed by Sally Barker

The beginning is now and will always be,
You say you lost your chance and fate brought you defeat,
But that means nothing, you look so sad,
You’ve been listening to those who say you've missed your chance.

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard another train.

You feel you’re done, there’s no such thing,
Although you’re standing on your own, your own breath is king,
The beginning is now, don’t turn around,
Regrets of bad mistakes will only drain you.

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard another train.

We crawl in the dark sometimes and think too much,
Then we fill our heads with crazy things that only break our hearts.
And I know you’ve seen what the earth can do,
When it's dragging down another load of worrisome fools.

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard another train.

I know it's hard when you feel confused,
You can crown yourself with fear and you feel you cannot move,
You're building worlds that don’t exist
Imagination plays the worst tricks.

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard

There’s another train, there always is,
Maybe the next one is yours,
Get up and climb aboard another train.
